The health and safety of our families is  most important as we return to the sport we love.  The club must follow the state, school district and leagues guidelines.  Below are the list of policies for safely returning to soccer.  These policies will update as more information is available.  We will communicate any updates via email as well as update this page. 

Practice Procedures:

1. Be respectful.
2. Parents’ responsibilities:
   1. Take temperature before practice.
   2. Keep player home if sick or anyone in the household has COVID systems.
3. Coaches must wear masks at all times.
   1. Exception when drinking water or sports drink.
4. Players must wear masks prior to and after practices.
   1. Masks are not required while actively playing.
   2. Masks can be worn while playing at the parents’ direction.  Please let your coach know if you wish for your child to wear a mask at all times.
5. Players while practicing:
   1. No splitting - even on GK gloves.  We recommend GK bring extra water to pour on gloves if needed.
   2. Only touch soccer balls with your hands for throw-ins and as a GK
   3. While not actively participating in practice maintain respectable distance. 
      1. If in line while in a drill, leave a step or two between players.
      2. Stretching or warm-up - leave a person space in between each player.
      3. Getting water or coach speaking to the group - leave space between each player.
6. Parents staying at practice:
   1. Must wear a mask.
   2. Maintain distance from others at the facility.
   3. Adhere to any posted facility guidelines.
   4. Don’t touch a soccer ball with your hands being used for practice.

Game Procedures:

1. All practice guidelines are still in place.
2. Players on the bench must wear a mask.
3. Parents on the sideline:
4. No travel benches for players - OHTSL rule.
5. Referee payment in envelope.
6. No exchange or player passes - pass will be produced if there is an age challenge by a coach.
7. Watch your email 24 hours prior to away game time.  Clubs will notify coaches of special facility policies 24 hours before game time.
